Our Installation Process
Remote Site Assessment
For most jobs we don't need to visit the property. We use Google Street View plus satellite mapping tools to measure the fence line, check slope and access, and identify obstacles. Sometimes we'll ask you to email a marked-up photo so we can see specifics we can't make out from above.
Engineering & Council
If required, we provide engineering certification for council and building certifier approvals. All our systems are engineer-designed and can be certified to meet relevant Australian Standards.
Pier Footings
Concrete pier footings (450mm diameter) are drilled at 3.2-metre centres along your fence line. This is the only excavation required - no strip footings, no large trenches, and far less ground disturbance than traditional block or brick construction.
Beam, Column & Panel Installation
A 100mm x 50mm galvanised structural steel beam is set into each pier footing. A precast concrete column with a 105mm x 55mm internal cavity slides down over the beam, encasing it. Precast concrete panels then slide into the grooves of the concrete columns using our tongue-and-groove system. A typical residential job is complete in 2-3 days.
Finishing & Cleanup
Optional column caps (flat or pyramid) are fitted if ordered, any painting or acid staining is completed, and the site is left clean. Your new fence is ready to enjoy.

Installation FAQs
How long does installation take?
Most residential jobs are completed in 2-3 days. We can install up to 100 metres per day depending on site conditions and access.
Do I need council approval?
Fences under 2 metres on a boundary generally don't need council approval in Queensland. We can advise on your specific situation and provide engineering certificates if needed.
What about sloping blocks?
Our system handles slopes naturally. Panels step with the terrain while maintaining a clean, consistent look. We regularly install on steep Gold Coast hillside blocks.
Will you damage my garden?
We use crane trucks to install the fences - each panel weighs roughly one tonne, so precision lifting is essential. Concrete and crane trucks may need to drive over lawns where access requires it. Our pier footings are 450mm in diameter, so total ground disturbance is still far less than the continuous strip footings needed for a rendered besser block fence. We work carefully to preserve existing gardens wherever we can.
Do you remove the old fence?
Removal of the existing fence is available as an extra - it's not included in the standard quote. Let us know if you'd like it priced and we'll add it to your job.
